Reporting a bug

The two details that make a bug findable are roughly when it happened and the room code you were in. With those we can usually locate the exact game in the server's records. The platform you were on — Mac, iPhone, Apple TV, or the website — helps too.

Deleting your leaderboard entry

Website matchmaking games record a display name with a win and game count. Rows disappear on their own after 90 days without a game, but if you want one gone sooner, email the exact display name and it will be removed. There is no account to verify against, so the name is all we can go on — which also means anyone can ask about any name. The privacy page explains what is stored and why.

Known limits

Hot Dice needs a network connection; there is no offline or single-player mode against the computer yet, though rooms can be filled with bots. Games live in the server's memory, so a server restart ends any match in progress. Room codes are recycled over time and are not a permanent link to a game.

Refunds

Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us — use Report a Problem in your App Store purchase history. If something about the game itself is wrong, tell us anyway; we would rather fix it.
